SELECTION CRITERIA FOR PA/SA EXAMINATION


As per schedule declared by Directorate, PA/ SA examination for the year 2013 have already been  started in phase manner in each circle. The following criteria are likely to be followed for selection of candidate.

Qualifying Marks :
Category
% of marks required
Remarks
OC
40%  i.e. 10 marks in each part
40% in aggregate
OBC
38%  i.e. 9 marks in each part
38% in aggregate
SC/ST
33%  i.e. 8 marks in each part
33% in aggregate



 Computer Test :

 As per above qualification of marks, candidates will be called for computer test in 1:5 ratio

 15 Minutes : For typing of 450 words passage
15 Minutes : For data entry work.

      Results dates are not yet published. But result publishing period was announced. From Auguest 1 to september 30, exam results shall be published to the various circles

      Last time exam results are published within 2 weeks by the postal department. This time outsourcing company only conducting exams and till now no news leaked about result date.

    sir how much minimum number riquired in aptitude to get this job if i assume i can clear typing test . i m from up region . my exam was on 19 may. on same date two exam of ssc and lic also happened. so more than 40% student was absent at same day in post office paper. so as per you how much marks i should get to feel safe a job among 1138 posts.

      couldnt say the exact cut off mark for every state. So lets wait and see and till the results prepare for typewriting.

      5 times of qualifying candidates shall be called to attend the typing test. If 300 posts are available for a circle, then 1500 top aptitude test candidates shall be called for typing test. After typing test, both aptitude and typing marks shall be added and then after adding the total marks, top 300 candidates shall be shortlisted for the recruitment. Thanks in advance Sultan baai.

      One moment here dear Admin,
      As given in a note that ""PAPER2 is of qualifying nature and scoring 40% meets the qualifying needs "".
      So for typing test with 30 wpm,How much shall be 40% is the actual query , which almost all the aspirants are confused with.Do the needful help in this regard..

      Dear Sultan,

      You are wrongly anticipating that, paper II eligibility is 40%. That is absolutely wrong.

      For, Paper I only,We should get atleast 40% aggregate marks for each category like Arithmatic, General Awareness, English, Reasoning.

      For Paper II, There is no eligibility criteria is mentioned in the selection criteria. In Paper II, Even after you scored nothing in typewriting exams, still you are in the top rank in paper I, You shall be shortlisted in the final list.

      For paper II, till before electronic evaluation is equipped to assess the marks. Hope this time too the same has been continued like

      If you wrongly typed and saved the Account no, Amount in Balance, fields, there is no marks shall be given to you in Data entry.

      For computer tests, If you did 5 erros or more in passage typing, there is no marks shall be given to you.

      In between no reduce of marks like 7/10 or 9/10 or 3/10 and so on. If you done well you could get 5 out of 5 in Data entry/ Computer tests. If you did more mistakes like I mentioned above, You shall get 0 only out of 5. In between no 1 mark, 2 marks, 3 marks, 4 marks. out of 5.

    i have got 48 wpm net speed and i have got 28.57% in data entry. my doubt is whether i will qualify the paper-II or not pls reply immediately

    My net type speed is 46 wpm and i have got 17.40 in data entry. I belong to S.T. category. Whether these details are under qualifying marks as mentioned in the advertise.no. 11/08/2012. Please! reply immediately. I am in wait...

      ONCE AGAIN I AM INSISTING TO ALL. THERE IS NO QUALIFYING MARKS FOR TYPE WRITING TESTS. YOUR WRITTEN TEST MARK AND TYPING MARKS(HOW MUCH EVER IT WOULD BE) SHALL BE ADDED AND YOUR FINAL MARKS SHALL BE ARRIVED. IF YOU GOT THE REQUIRED MARKS, THEN YOU SHALL BE SHORTLISTED!!!

      Dear Surbhi Sharma,

      Recruitment rules are modified for the recruitment 2014, and at present the following cut off marks should be obtained in each category to qualify in the examinations
      General Awareness, Arithmatic, General English, Reasoning (Each category 25 questions you should give following correct answers):
      General 11, OBC 10, SC/ST 8 (correct answers)
      Beyond qualifying with the above cut off you need to be in toppers list to get the job

    I ATTEND THE PA/SA EXAM IN 21-APR-2013. I PASSED IN PAPER1. THEN I ATTEND PAPER 2. I PASSED IN BOTH EXAM.. BUT I DIDN'G GET THE JOB. WHATS THE REASON.. HOW CAN I CHECK MY MARK IN NET.. BECAUSE I TYPED VERY WELL IN PAPER2.. IN SPEED ONLY 5 MISTAKES PER MINUTE I TYPED 45 WORDS.. AND FORM I TYPED 27... BUT RESULT WAS NEGATIVE HOW ITS POSSIBLE.. PLS TELL...
